I have averaged 20K miles per set of tires all dealer recommended with 60K-100K tread warranties now replacing the 6th set with 130K on the car. Replaced entire drive shaft as tone ring not a separate component. I was amazed because other then my radiator and fan explosions I hadn't experience any other problems. I tried to crank the car once more and nothing. This engine failed due to serious engine issues.
In addition, the check engine and the electrical throttle warning lights illuminated. I'm going to use social media as much as I can to get the word out to others consumers about the problems with these cars and setup a web site for everyone to use. The two warning lights are electronic stability control and electronic throttle control. They should also improve to better gas mileage. Replaced it, then another went out about a month later. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
Funny how I've never had a problem with this before and not 1 warning indicator came on in regards to charging system, battery, etc. Original review: July 27, 2017 My 2014 Chrysler 300 had a recall due to the transmission not staying in park. I have now lost my dream car, even though I've done everything right and had anything mechanical fixed immediately by either the dealer or a certified mechanic and have run full synthetic oil for over 100,000 miles. It happened a few days later I was turning into the parking lot and it cut off in the middle of the street. Not to mention there is no drain plug for the tranny to remove fluid.
The contact stated that the check engine light illuminated. The second most common problem is related to the vehicle's air bags 133 problems. The vehicle was not repaired. This time the car shakes, the oil pressure light comes on, and it slowly stalls and completely dies. One year later since my last major repair and I decided after work one day that I was hungry and decided to treat myself. But there were a few things that have been problematic that I've been told is consistent with the 300 across the board, not just my car. This occurs without warning and 2to 4 times a year.
Car ran like a dream again. Another thing to check for is to place the vehicle on jack stands or a lift if you have one and have someone shift gears. A gas tank should never touch are move. Of course the battery drained. I have invested a considerable amount of money over a two year period trying to remedy the problem including the replacement of the purge valve in December 2014.
The car is a 99 model and the motor has over 140000 miles but the outer and inner design is not dated. The light turns green and I see only happiness in my future. A very smooth ride great handling very responsive being only a V6 it still had great pickup when needed I have loved driving this car and it has 50,000 miles and I have had no problems at all with it. Worst I have ever owned. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000. Many chrysler vehicles use hydrostat transmissions with have literally over a thousand parts, nuts, bolts, sensors, and not to mention the electronic parts involved to operate them. The second time my car locked into park in the middle of a busy intersection and I barely got it out of traffic when it would not move any further.
The fire department was called and continued to extinguish the fire. The failure recurred several times. The number one most common problem is related to the vehicle's power train with 165 problems. So please pay attention when pumping gas. Then after about 20 mins later it would start cooling again. However, they promptly smite me. The vehicle was taken to the dealer.
While driving 35 mph and making a right turn, the vehicle ran over large abnormal rocks. Original review: July 19, 2017 While pumping gas in car, the gas came back out on the ground. The contact stated that she placed her purse on the passenger seat. While the key was in the ignition, the vehicle failed to start. Apparently, after some research, the sunroof had been recalled for leaking and coming loose. I let it rest for a while and tried to restart it and it would not crank. The new engine will have a 3 year warranty which is totally ridiculous!!! I just had a recent transmission and coolant leak.
The brake pedal was applied, but was stiff and failed to respond. All my friends comment on how beautiful it is and how nice it rides. After buying the car in April, six months later, after coming off of the highway I hear a loud rattling noise coming from the engine. Finally, I kept braking and pulled off the side of the road. My key was very loose out in the ignition and it wasn't making click sounds like it normally did after you switch the key out of the lock position. The contact stated that he drove the vehicle home, parked it, and was unable to restart it for two days. Its like my car just powered off.
