I feel much smarter now! The car feels tight, composed and agile and it loves corners. This goes away in about 5 minutes as the transmission oil warms up. But the service department insists this is factory standard and refuses to address the issues. The problem may come and go, but the onboard computer will initiate a backup program to maintain the transmission's performance if the problem is not addressed. Definitely a good point Scott.

It is fun to paddle shift but the logic controls for it are better than humans; the only issue with the Corvette application is the transmission in track mode is programmed to maximize performance and a good track driver on a hot day can overheat the engine not the transmission because the control program keeps the engine in its upper power band. The car could have rolled forward over the edge of the parking garage and down a hill which was not safe. In coupe or sedan form, the car is a head turner, and many people were surprised to find out that it was a Cadillac.

Figured it was just nature of the beast till it gets up to temp. Again no problem found after in shop a few days. It is not due to poor release practice with the clutch.

My 13 rwd will only do the downshift to hold higher rpm when in sport mode.
